Updating a GL Interface Record

You can update the details of a GL interface record in the GL Interface master file, and you can delete GL interface records you no longer require.

1. Open the Change GL Interface screen for the GL interface record you want to update or delete.

Refer to "Opening the GL Interface Master File".

2. Optionally, recall a GL interface record by selecting FILE | FIND.

3. Update the GL interface record for each procedure conducted in MDS by selecting EDIT and then selecting one of the following menu options:

• SALES – refer to "Edit - Sales"
• TAX AND GST – refer to "Edit - Tax and GST"
• PURCHASING AND STOCK – refer to "Edit - Purchasing and Stock"
• DEBTORS – refer to "Edit - Debtors"
• KIT – refer to "Edit - Kit"
• DISCOUNTS – refer to "Edit - Discounts"
• DUTY AND EXCISE – refer to "Edit - Duty and Excise"
• CREDIT CARD FEE – refer to "Edit - Credit Card Fee".

4. Select FILE | SAVE to save your changes.

5. To delete the GL interface record displayed, select FILE | DELETE.
